Take the Picnic Table with You to the Beach

Happily Ever After/Real Love
I was 43 years old and still looking for love. I guess I was searching for love in all the wrong places. I just wasnt finding the man of my dreams, my soul mate, .....
Everybody loves a good picnic. As I get older what I dont love is sitting on the ground, even if it is on a lush picnic blanket. I would much prefer a table and chair situation as it is more comfortable on my aging bones. So, what is the answer when I want to go on a picnic and its at the beach or somewhere there are no tables and chairs? A folding picnic table is the answer for people like me or for the little ones as well. There are different sizes and materials that are available on the market. There is a size that is good for just the kids. Bold colors and durable materials make these a great choice. They are on a smaller scale so the size is perfect for the little ones. They are also good for child care centers, or in your family room.

If you want the children to sit and play nice together for coloring or painting, these easy to clean folding picnic tables are ideal. When you need them to be out of the way, they fold up flat and theyre gone. Plastic and aluminum are the materials of choice as they are fairly lightweight. Dont wait for the picnic to put them in the van for camping or tailgating, sports events, fairs, pool parties and more. Some come with independent benches while others are attached. There are styles that accommodate eight people, they can hold an umbrella and the table wont rust, crack, chip or peel from the elements. Some have a weight limit of approximately 300 pounds. The easy folding flat and briefcase models will slip into the van or camper and you will be ready for eating comfort wherever you are.

If you dont want to purchase one of the models that are available in the market, you can build your own folding picnic table from plans that are available online. There are models that give you two benches that have backs, but with an easy folding hinge, you will have two benches and a table coming together. They really are quite ingenious and a versatile design. Pick out the wood of choice (red cedar is nice) and you will have perfect extra seating when and a convenient table when dinner is ready. These are ideal for a patio or backyard and the other folding models are great for traveling. Either of them is quite versatile for a numbers of uses.

Now, just plan your picnic with these easy tips. Choose your location, park, beach, meadow or anywhere you feel like stopping and smelling the roses. Invite someone to go with you. Picnics are boring if you are alone. Plan an easy menu or just the wine and cheese is good too. Get out the proverbial picnic basket or tote bag and fill it with inexpensive plastic utensils and plates. Dont forget the corkscrew. Bring towels for spilling accidents and hand wipes especially if the kids come along. Dont forget the flashlight and lanterns at night, and the sunscreen and insect repellent if it is in the daytime. A picnic can be as simple or elaborate as you want to make it. When you take your picnic table with you, you will be more comfortable at the same time and the kids will have a place to sit down and eat too.
